Aviva Annual Conference
September 2009
Aviva held their second annual conference for their select panel of brokers in Barcelona in September. Steve Sawrey was lucky enough to be asked to attend this year on behalf of the business.
Whilst there was plenty of time to enjoy the sights there was a serious side to the visit as well.
It was an opportunity for the senior executives at Aviva to share their vision for the industry in the years ahead. Clearly they value local brokers like us because of our close relationship with and our professional service to our clients. They will continue to develop their products and services with this in mind.

Coventry Fun Run 2009
July 2009
John Townsley was appointed event Co -Ordinator for this event through his involvement with Coventry Three Spires Round Table. Work started in January 2009, for the Fun Run, which entered it’s 26th year in June 2009.
The event raises money for local charities and good causes with over 3000 runners taking part who take to the streets of the city in the 4 mile route. The event raised £48,000 this year.
Irvine Commercial were one of the sponsors and some of the staff took part on the day.
John and his team from Round Table worked hard to lay on entertainment, stalls, music and even managed to secure the attendance of an Olympic athlete from Team GB. The organisers aim to improve upon this again for 2010. Special thanks go to our very own Mina Subhan for her invaluable help working alongside John on the administration for the event.
If you are interested in raising money for your own specified charity and would like to know more please view www.coventryfunrun.co.uk or give john a call.
