John was born in Coventry and started his insurance career in 1987.

Over this time he has worked in most aspects of insurance for a wide range of trades and professions, from sole traders to multi national companies.

John was one of the founders of the company in 2003 alongside Matthew Finch,

his Co-Director, and is looking forward to developing and growing the business in the years ahead.

He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and in 2000 was President of Coventry Insurance Institute.

John has previously written articles in relation to the insurance profession, that have featured in local and national newspapers and has been interviewed on the BBC.

He was a member of Coventry Three Spires Round table from 1999, until 2017, during which time he held various roles, whilst helping raise money for local charities and good causes. He was Chairman in 2009, Fun Run Chairman in 2009 and 2010, President in 2014, and in roles within the Midlands Region as Area 45 Chairman in 2014, and Area 45 President in 2016. For his years of Service, Coventry Three Spires awarded him as an Honorary Lifetime President, one of only three ever awarded.

Due to his work within the City of London, he was proposed for, and successfully admitted in April 2016 as a Liveryman to the Worshipful Company of Carmen. He also was granted, by redemption, the Freedom of the City of London in April 2016.

John’s main interest is horse riding, and owns a 17.0 hand horse called “Riley” mainly for leisure riding. His other interests are clay pigeon shooting, rugby, music, and getting out into the great outdoors.
