All businesses are unique. Most will not fit into a set package insurance policy (e.g. shop, office, surgery). This is where a Commercial Combined policy is the ideal way of obtaining the core cover that your business needs.

The policy is designed to be flexible. The main business risks your company faces are combined under one contract with the ability for sections to be added or removed as your needs change.

The core sections of a business insurance include:

Material Damage

This section provides cover for your business, material property and chattels such as your belongings, machinery and plant, stock, computers etc.

Employers Liability

This covers your compulsory insurance requirement for all employees against injury or disease whilst in your employment. Legal Costs and Damages that may be awarded are included within the policy.

Money

This is the cover for physical loss or damage to business money.

Business Interruption

This relates to financial compensation for your business in the event of an insured loss occurring under your Material Damage section, with the intention to maintain your business’s normal trading position and to return you to your previous financial trading position as soon as possible.

Public and Products Liability

Cover in respect of your legal liability to pay compensation to third parties for accidental loss, damage to their property or injury to any person following the course of your usual business activities or products supplied.

Goods in Transit

Providing cover for your goods and property whilst in transit within the geographical limits selected by you.

Specified All Risks

This section of cover provides insurance for physical loss or damage to specified items of equipment or property whilst away from your usual business premises.
